In April we celebrate Rhode Island's Community Development Corporations which are committed to the development and preservation of affordable homes and vibrant communities. SWAP, (and our Executive Director Carla DeStefano) was one of the founding members of the statewide organization of CDCs. Today CDCs build and develop thousands of affordable homes and initiate revitalization of neighborhoods and communities. We are proud to have been there in the beginning and now in its 50th year SWAP continues to address the pressing demand for homes that are affordable. (fb)
