🤍 🎓Senior Sunday 🎓🤍 🩵🎉 Makayla Kedra 🎉🩵 Makayla Kedra, daughter of James and Jennifer Kedra, will receive her Academic Honors Diploma from Roncalli High School in May 2025. While attending Roncalli Makayla was involved in a myriad of academic and athletic activities most notably, French National Club where she earned her French Honor Chords, RHS Dance Team, 4 years in Track and Field, and four years in choir. Makayla was also heavily involved in the theatre program including duties as secretary, tech crew, manager and student director. Her first acting role at RHS as Gretl in the Sound of Music at age 7 is where it all began. Outside of school Makayla is active at Holy Name as an Altar Server and participates in community service at St. Vincent de Paul and Gleaner's Food Bank. She is a ten year 4-H member winning numerous awards and exhibiting projects at both the county and State level. During 2024-2025 Makayla represented Marion County at the county fair and community events and parades after winning the title of Miss Congeniality Princess for Marion County. Makayla has taken a mixture of gymnastics, tap, jazz, lyrical, and ballet during her fourteen years at TDR. Her favorites are ballet, pointe, and lyrical. In the Fall of 2025, Makayla will be attending Purdue University majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She intends to become an Event Planner, ideally with a charity, which will combine her love of organizing and managing people along with helping those in need. Makayla would like to thank Ms. Lynn and all her past instructors who taught and helped fuel her love of dance. Most importantly she thanks God for all the opportunities He has granted her, her parents, Grandma and siblings for their unwavering support and encouragement of her passions and activities. 🩵 For the weeks leading up to Recital we will be posting one of our graduating seniors.
