Whappy Paws Look how Gigi has grown! From five days old to 26, her eyes are now fully open. Her ears have unfolded. She can control her claws. She’s walking around although she’s still working on controlling her rear legs. And she’s discovered the Third Dimension—she’s standing on her hind legs and trying to climb her condo wall. Home Caring For Creatures located on 157 acres in central Virginia provides a safe refuge for dogs and cats with no other placeto go. Once an animal comes to the sanctuary we commit to that animal for their entire life if needed. Our hope is that we are only a stop on their journey to a loving forever home. If an animal is not selected for adoption we provide quality care and companionship for them as lifetime residents.
