One month in his forever home and Walter is thriving. He’s settling into mountain life, letting his personality shine—and it turns out, he’s hilarious, sweet, and a little bit dramatic (especially during thunderstorms). 🤭 He’s completely obsessed with mom—she’s his person. He adores his sister, and when the thunder rolls through, he makes a beeline for dad, where he leans in like, “I’m only safe if I’m glued to you.” He just had a bath (and survived), and he’s been enthusiastically “helping” with yardwork—digging holes and insisting it’s part of the garden plan. He’s claimed his favorite spot by the lake where he can sit, zone out, and watch the world do its thing. Zoomies? Activated. Snuggles? Approved. Even dad, who he was a little unsure about, has earned his trust—and his naptime cuddles. 🥰 And now, his family is ready to make it official. His mom calls him “the best—a blessing,” and said working with Lisa and Nichole has been incredible. She’s beyond thankful for everything that brought Walter home, and gave their family a new piece they didn’t know was missing.
