Catching up on some spring trip posts! One group spent their week at @zumwaltacres, a small farm in northeast Illinois. Zumwalt Acres is a regenerative agriculture community working to develop a model of land stewardship that is ecologically sustainable, socially responsible, and rooted in Jewish values. Scattergood students and staff helped to ready the farm for the upcoming planting season and learned how the team at Zumwalt Acres is breathing life and health back into the soil and community.
