Alder Tree Giving Education and opportunity for the next generation What is the Alder Tree Giving mission. Alder trees are widely known for fostering fertile and healthy soil and according to Irish folklore the first man was made of alder. Alder Tree Giving seeks to foster healthy and active lifestyles in children through education and immersive handson activities and building local institutions that support these goals. The lessons learned through these activities and in these institutions will serve as fertile and healthy building blocks for their lives and help positively shape our society.
