Stephen is based year round in the USA at ‘Perfect Harmony’ NY and Wellington, Florida. He has ridden to FEI level and has coached many riders to achieving their bronze, silver and gold medals. The knowledge and experience Stephen has gained through riding and training with Olympic judges and riders is transferred onto his riders in a friendly, positive and simplistic way. ✨ Richard Malmgren (Sept 12-13): Discover the benefits and techniques of Long-Lining. Born and raised in southern Sweden, Richard grew up on a horse farm neighboring Flyinge, Sweden’s National Stud, which is a breeding, research, and training facility. Since his father competed at advanced level eventing & showjumping, Richard was exposed to horses from an early age and savored the knowledge provided by his father. Soon he was taking lessons from Swedish Olympians Major Anders Lindgren and Lars Anderson. The Swedish way of long lining was invented by the famous Swedish Olympic rider Yngve Viebke, the chief rider at Flyinge “Sweden’s National Stud” from 1948 - 1972. This method of long lining horses is part of the Swedish Riding Academy's curriculum and it is how Richard has been long lining horses since childhood.
