The Panhandle Parks Foundation recently installed a plaque at the pickleball courts at Memorial Field in honor of avid pickleball player Kevin Oliver. “Kevin was a big part of our pickleball community and died suddenly from a heart problem,” said friend and fellow pickleball player Carla Schauer. “Everyone just wanted to remember him.” Learn more about naming rights and memorials through the foundation at www.panhandleparks.org (fb)

The Foundation assists with property exchanges provides guidance on creative fundraising and management serves as a conduit for matching funds acts as a 501C3 umbrella for other organizations facilitates land acquisitions and land development and protects and holds open space.
