Since its founding in 1988 HisBA has been working for the advancement of Hispanics in the legal profession serving the public interest promoting high standards of integrity honor and professional courtesy among lawyers and working with the other bar associations and community legal and governmental organizations in furtherance of itsmissions and goals.

HisBA was honored to sponsor and attend the Houston Bar Association's 2025 DEI Summer Associate Luncheon at the Marriott Marquis. This year’s theme, “One Nation, Many Voices: The 14th Amendment's Role in Expanding Democracy,” served as a powerful reminder of our ongoing commitment to representation within the legal profession. We were proud to have our mentorship program participants join us for this inspiring event, alongside Mentorship Chair Islara Rodriguez Irgit and Judge Raúl Rodríguez of Harris County Criminal Court at Law No.
