Our continuing care communities are home to belly laughs with neighbors delicious chefcooked meals beautiful green gardens farmers markets cozy abodes and most of all really kind people. Each of the Greencroft affiliates was startedby individuals from various faith traditions who wanted to make a difference everyday in their community. They each answered a call from God to serve.

Greencroft Communities is proud to welcome Shauna Shafer as the new Executive Director of Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, IN. Shauna brings over a decade of senior living leadership experience, with a strong background in regulatory compliance, resident-centered care, and team development. Most recently, she served as Executive Director at Life Care Center of Rochester and spent six years as Administrator at Lutheran Life Villages–Anthony Boulevard, where she led a 142-bed campus to a consistent 5-star rating and 98% occupancy—all without the use of agency staffing.
