K-9 Wyatt E.O.W. March 2, 2015 – March 18, 2025 It is with a heavy heart that the New Hampshire State Police Canine Unit announces the passing of K-9 Wyatt. K-9 Wyatt, a ten-year-old Plott Hound had been working alongside Trooper First Class Kevin Devlin for over ten years and passed unexpectedly from lung cancer. Trooper First Class Devlin and K-9 Wyatt began their Police Canine career March 2, 2015. During that time, Trooper First Class Devlin and K-9 Wyatt trained countless hours over a period of twenty-four weeks before being certified as both a Search & Rescue and a Human Remains Detection Canine Team. Throughout their long and successful career as a canine team, Trooper First Class Devlin and K-9 Wyatt have been involved in countless missing persons and homicide investigation cases throughout the State of New Hampshire, bringing closure to the families of the victims and aiding in the prosecution of those cases. Rest easy K-9 Wyatt, your fellow teammates will take it from here. -NHTA (fb)
Please pray for the Nebraska State Patrol and Trooper McAcy’s family as they mourn this incredible loss. (fb)
