Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce

The Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting bilateral trade between Germany and the United States. It was founded in 2015 and serves as the official representative of German trade in Western Pennsylvania.

• Apprenticeship Programs: The chapter is involved in implementing the German dual apprenticeship system in Pittsburgh. It acts as an alternative to traditional higher education by allowing companies to cover tuition costs during the training period.

• Networking Events: Members benefit from various networking events designed to enhance business connections within the international network of over 130 German foreign chambers of commerce.

• Business Opportunities: The organization facilitates finding the right German business partners or customers for its U.S. member companies through its affiliation with the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York.

• Career and Legal Services: Members have access to career support and legal services, including visa assistance, which aids in navigating international business requirements.
