As we sit around the Seder table and joyfully sing Dayenu, we reflect on the abundant goodness bestowed upon our ancestors. Each act alone would have been “enough,” yet more followed. It’s a celebration of gratitude. But at Shalom Task Force, we hear a different cry of Dayenu — one not sung, but whispered by many of our callers and clients. Enough. The abuse is enough. The fear is enough. The disbelief from the community — enough. This Pesach, I’ve been thinking deeply about what we can do to lighten the burden for those who simply cannot carry more. Let this Pesach be a time of deep reflection and action — when we don’t just say Dayenu, but ensure that no one has to face one more moment of silence, fear, or dismissal.
