What started in homes and open spaces is now a life-changing programme for vulnerable children across Cape Town’s townships. At Ikamva Labantu, our Early Childhood Development (ECD) programme focuses on nurturing children aged 0-5, while equipping preschool principals and practitioners with practical tools to uplift their centres. Through our one-year experiential training and our model preschool, Kwakhanya Educare Centre in Khayelitsha, we help early learning practitioners observe best practice in action, building stronger foundations for both children and educators.
