Have you visited Blue Hole? Meet Judy and Kenny who recently spent time outdoors at the Blue Hole in National Key Deer Refuge. National Wildlife Refuges, along with National Parks, National Forests and BLM lands belong to the American public. Each year, millions of people take the opportunity to get outdoors to enjoy nature on their public lands, we encourage you to get outside and have some fun too! Share your comments of your visit to Blue Hole. National Wildlife Refuges provide critical homes for wildlife and plants, many rare or imperiled; they are also beautiful places for people to get outdoors and explore nature. They are managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. There are more than 570 refuges scattered throughout all 50 states and US territories. Here in the Florida Keys there are four national wildlife refuges- National Key Deer Refuge, Crocodile Lake NWR, Great White Heron NWR and Key West NWR and they provide wonderful opportunities for people to get outdoors and appreciate nature. Thanks to volunteers Brewster R., Philip D., and Melissa D. for pulling together this video (fb)
