As one of the primary providers of medical care HIV treatment and community health services in underserved areas the Witkoppen Clinic relies heavily on this funding to sustain its lifesaving operations. This abrupt and unexpected funding stoppage has created chaos and disruption leaving no time to prepare or implement contingency plans. Thousands of vulnerable patients including women and children affected by HIV now face the risk of losing access to critical care and essential support services.
