Today we share something truly special from the heart. We are honored to announce that Prison Pet Partnership has received a beautiful donation: a new form of transportation for our puppies and senior dogs — lovingly gifted by the family of sweet Lulu, who recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. Lulu was no ordinary pup. She was a beloved member of our boarding family, known for choosing exactly what she wanted to do — whether it was being carried like royalty, chewing on shoes (while people wore them), or sitting on her “throne” in the office. With her gentle temperament, playful spirit, and adventurous heart, Lulu wasn’t just loved by her family; she became a favorite among our participants and staff, teaching us all about patience, joy, and unconditional love. While Lulu’s absence leaves a big hole, we are deeply grateful for the time we shared with her and even more thankful that her family entrusted us with her care. Their generous gift of her stroller will now help carry our youngest pups and most senior dogs, making their time with us safer, easier, and more comfortable — a beautiful legacy of Lulu’s love.
