MES Fund – The Margaret Elizabeth Stephenson Fund Since 2000 the MES Fund has provided over 350 scholarships to AMI teacher trainees totaling 866000 in financial aid. As we celebrate our 25th year we invite you to help the MES Fund grow and continue to support AMI teachers in training. The MES Fund was established in 2000 by AMIUSA to honor Margaret Elizabeth Stephenson who devoted her life to Montessori teacher training. It is the first national financial aid fund to benefit AMI teacher trainees in the United States.
