We need locals to attend the Vacaville's City Council meeting, tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27 at 6pm. Mayor Carli has refused to recognize June as Pride Month. In the last year alone, I’ve experienced homophobic slurs shouted from cars and subtle, daily micro-aggressions—things I hadn’t experienced in years—because national leaders have modeled intolerance. Local leadership can counter that. It sends a message that here in Vacaville, we value safety, respect, and dignity for all. (fb)

Herd and FlockAnimal Sanctuary Let Live Let Love Herd Flock Animal Sanctuary rescues and provides homes to neglected and abused farm animals. Since we began in 2019 we have saved over 968 animals by providing them lifesaving temporary or permanent homes. We run tours and host volunteer events to facilitate relationships between members of the community and our farm animal residents. Our animals serve as ambassadors teaching community members about the richness and complexity of their lives.
