Laura Salisbury, the heart behind Always Be Kind Yarn, is a skilled yarn dyer known for her vibrant self-striping and rainbow yarns. She is also a knitwear designer and a craftivism advocate. Laura’s love for yarn crafting began early and has remained a significant part of her life. Laura’s yarn-dyeing journey and craftivism for kindness, inclusion and Suicide Awareness and Prevention came out of the profound grief of losing her daughter Kaylan to suicide in 2020. "My goal is to make KINDNESS not just a statement, but a lifestyle!" Laura views yarn as a medium to creatively foster kindness, community and connection. Her colorful yarns and designs remind us to embrace joy and creativity in our daily lives!
