Every child has a story. 📖 For Blanca, Crimson, and Adriana, it was a story filled with hardships and heartbreak. Before arriving at the Lighthouse, they faced challenges no child should ever have to face. As far as anyone could see, they were on track to have their lives become another discouraging statistic. But thankfully, that isn’t how their story ended… After joining our program and receiving the compassion, Biblical counseling, and caring home environment they so desperately needed, all three of these young ladies were able to graduate from our high school academy this year! 👩‍🎓 Their next chapters are now filled with hope. At the Lighthouse Children’s Home, we believe children’s stories can be rewritten for the better, because we’ve seen it happen every single day, since 1977. With so many mouths to feed each day, we go through a lot of staples – especially roasts (this is one of the girls’ favorites!), chicken, and hamburger meat.
