Home Our Mission The Boston Self Help Center Inc. is a 501c 3 nonprofit run by and for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses providing and advocating for adaptive sports recreation and other resources for individuals with disabilities. Our primary programs are Power Wheelchair Soccer and Volt Hockey. Our Whiplash hockey team is in the news as they compete in the Volt Hockey World Cup in Sweden September 16 and 17th.
