LVMPDSAR LVMPD Search and Rescue The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue Section is an organization of commissioned police officers and volunteer professionals dedicated to saving lives. LVMPDSAR serves the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding Clark County in helicopter and mountain rescue tactical medicine and dive search and recovery capabilities. It is our duty to provide the highest level of skill and best possible care to those who call upon us for help. SEARCH AND RESCUE PERSONNEL BOTH COMMISSIONED AND VOLUNTEER ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING THE BEST SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY WE PROTECT.
