Parent Voices Oakland Our Mission Parent Voices Oakland PVO is a parentled grassroots organization that advocates for affordable accessible quality child care. PVO organizes and empowers families with the highest need to build effective campaigns toward economic and educational justice. PVO is a Blackled organization focused on building power among Bay Area parents particularly Black and Brown parents to ensure they can transform the systems that impact their lives. While child care advocacy is and will continue to be a key component of PVOs work its primary focus is on growing a beautiful and powerful political home for impacted parents families and caregivers to shape a region where parenting is just and equitable and families are cared for.
