Communities In Schools of Benton-Franklin Communities In Schools of BentonFranklin Our Mission Our mission is to surround students with a community of support empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Why We Exist At Communities In Schools of BentonFranklin we believe every student regardless of race gender zip code or socioeconomic background deserves the opportunity to write their own success story. What We Do Working directly inside 28 schools throughout Richland Pasco Kennewick Finley and Prosser School Districts we learn firsthand about the personal challenges and structural barriers standing between our students and their goals. How We Do It Our schoolbased staff work IN schools every day to ensure students have access to basic needs such as food stable housing and technology while also facilitating socialemotional learning increasing access to mental and physical healthcare and supporting college and career readiness.
