Northern New Mexico Soccer

Overview

Northern New Mexico Soccer, commonly known as Northern Soccer Club, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth soccer in Northern New Mexico. Established over 50 years ago, it has been a leading youth soccer league in the region, providing opportunities for children from diverse backgrounds to develop their skills and reach their full potential through soccer.

Programs

The organization offers a variety of programs to cater to different age groups and skill levels:

• Development League: This program is designed for children aged from U4 to U14, focusing on building soccer skills, teamwork, and community spirit through group practices. The league operates in the fall and spring seasons, fostering a fun and engaging environment for young players.

• Academy Program: Tailored for players aged U6 to U12, the Academy provides specialized training to develop technical, tactical, physical, and psychological attributes necessary for advanced play. It serves as a platform for future Select players.

• Select Program: This elite program is for players aged U7 to U18, offering high-level league play and opportunities for players to compete in tournaments and potentially showcase their skills to colleges.

• Community Outreach: Northern New Mexico Soccer partners with local schools to offer soccer as a free after-school activity, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and soccer skills among grade school students.
