Childrens Advocacy Center & Court Appointed Special Advocates| Child Network | Kankakee IL Envisioning a nation where children flourish free from abuse and neglect Our mission To improve the response to child sexual and physical abuse and to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the court system in Kankakee Iroquois Counties. As a nonprofit 501c3 organization we operate two distinct programs the Childrenx27s Advocacy Center CAC and Court Appointed Special Advocates CASA. Childrenx27s Advocacy Center CAC The Childrens Advocacy Center serves child victims of sexual abuse or serious physical abuse through a comprehensive approach of providing services to the victim and their nonoffending family members. The CAC provides a safe neutral childfocused environment where child victims meet with members of a multidisciplinary team for the purpose of the investigative interview.
