Hope Health andOpportunity Start Here Maddies Place is a 501c3 nonprofit freestanding recovery nursery for babies experiencing withdrawal due to prenatal substance exposure. We provide high quality holistic multidisciplinary medical and nonmedical care for infants with prenatal substance exposure also known as Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and wraparound support for their parentscaregivers. Our comprehensive model of care brings babies safely through their withdrawal facilitates early bonding whenever possible offers hope and support to parents struggling with substance abuse strengthens families improves early intervention and helps mitigate the longterm effects suffered by children with inutero substance exposure.

"I was in my addiction for 5+ years with ZERO hope or want to stop, and I had family and friends and my daughter’s father begging me to get help when we found out I was pregnant, but I just didn’t know how to. My mom found Maddie’s Place for me and begged me for months to come over and get into the house there, but I didn’t until I gave birth. I was terrified and uneasy and uncomfortable the day I left the hospital but Katie Bunch and Tricia were AMAZING and so welcoming.
