"I just feel really grateful to be able to do this after having gone through a stroke. " Penn High School choir director Andrew Nemeth shared what was on his mind and his heart with WNDU on Thursday night after throwing the first pitch of the South Bend Cubs "Strike Out Stroke" event in partnership with Beacon Health System. At 36 years old, Andrew started showing signs of stroke between classes, and thanks to the fast action of his colleagues, he got the help he needed at Beacon to minimize the long-term effects.
