Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The Rattlers are the Champs and we’re gonna shout it! But not before the Lady Roadrunners rallied hard with a comeback so heart-pumping in the first game that even the concession stand volunteers stopped mid-hotdog to watch. The adrenaline was high and the bases were stolen so fast that even the umpires needed a wind advisory warning. The playoffs have come to an end, but our softball “Dream Big” motto lives on in the hearts, hustle, and high socks of every girl who left it all on the field. Huge thank you to all the parents who courageously braved GameChanger’s emotional rollercoaster and those who wore their dirt-stained shirts like badges of honor after prepping the field each night. You are the real MVPs. Endless gratitude to the managers and coaches who relentlessly taught the girls how to back up a throw to first and get the ball back to the pitcher faster than a TikTok challenge goes viral.
