We have exciting news to share from Welcome Home 2025! 💫 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised more than $182,000 to support Neighborhood House programs that connect neighbors, build community, and improve lives. Together, we’re turning compassion into action—and we couldn’t be more grateful. The evening was full of heart and connection. We heard a powerful story from Liliia Bielousova, a client who fled Ukraine and is now opening Oregon’s first Ukrainian-language child care center. Guests enjoyed delicious food from Jake’s Catering, took part in inspiring Table Talk conversations about openness, fairness, collaboration, and creativity, and heard from our Executive Director. The live raffle sent some lucky winners home very happy, and the donation portion of the night gave everyone a chance to support at the level most meaningful to them. Thank you to everyone who joined us, gave generously, and shared in powerful table conversations about the values that matter most. The University of Wisconsin and University of Illinois Portland Alumni Chapters came together to donate 160 pounds of non-perishable food to Neighborhood House!🥫 Their generosity means the world to us and will go a long way in supporting our neighbors. Alumni leaders Kelly Johnson and Patrick Burkhart helped lead this effort, and we’re so grateful.
