Baxter needs our help again, so we’re calling on our Arrow Fund family. This sweet boy was rescued in 2018 from a rural shelter by The Arrow Fund when that underfunded shelter could not provide the surgery he needed for a leg that was fractured in three places. Baxter’s leg was amputated after rescue, and once he healed, he was adopted into a loving home. Life’s unexpected challenges are difficult for people, too, and we’re sad to say that Baxter no longer has the same home circumstances. He now spends many days sad and lonely. He misses being around people to love on him, a warm lap to cuddle on and watch TV, and someone to be near him. Baxter loves being close to people, good food, and a drowsy nap outside in the warm sunshine. Rain is not his favorite. He gets along with any animals introduced to him, and has a calm, laid-back demeanor. He loves to sit on the back of the couch or out in the yard to keep watch on the neighborhood. He is not much for playing fetch, but loves to spectate any fun activity going on around him. Baxter is a cool, friendly, good boy (estimated to be 8-9 years old) who needs our help.
