Many of these children are homeless and the odds are stacked against them. As a community there is something we can do HELPING KIDS THRIVE As the regions only nonprofit exclusively serving the educational needs of children and youth experiencing homelessness UpSpring provides these students with the consistency needed to achieve academic success and become wellrounded active participants in their community.

One highlight from UpSpring After School this year was our t-shirt project with our teens from Brighton Center. Our students enjoyed designing and creating their own shirts at the Kenton County Public Library. One of our students had never been to a public library before, and couldn't believe that you can borrow things like games, play video games or watch YouTube on the computers, and make all sorts of things at the Makerspace.
