Looking for a meaningful way to spend just two hours a week this summer? Wesley-Rankin is incredibly thankful for the volunteers who power our Scholars Program, created in partnership with the June Shelton School. This program supports students with learning differences through personalized reading and writing instruction using strategies that meet them where they are, whether through multi-sensory learning or auditory memory training. This summer, we’re looking for new volunteers to help carry this work forward. The program runs from June 9 to July 24, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. By dedicating just two hours a week, you can make a lasting impact. If you’re a high school student looking for experience, a college student interested in education or child development, or a retired educator or professional with time and skills to give, this is a meaningful way to get involved. Volunteer training is happening next week and we’d love to see you there.
