Vermont Asylum Assistance Project WELCOME TO VAAP Meet Vermont Asylum Assistance Project VAAP Our Story Cofounded by a group of attorneys and legal workers in 2021 and incorporated in 2023 Vermont Asylum Assistance Project VAAP exists to raise Vermont noncitizens awareness of and access to critical immigration legal help and support. Our Team Today VAAP is staffed by Vermonts first ever Immigrant Justice Corps attorney fellows and supported by dozens of pro bono legal and language access volunteers and a distinguished board of eleven directors. Our Work Our intake for direct legal services is currently closed but we are offering tailored Know Your Rights presentations and technical assistance. Use this website to educate yourself so you can help create access to reliable information for everyone.
