Founded in 1919 WLAM is a community of legal professionals who share core values like supporting the advancement of women in law and society and securing equality and social justice for all. It is WLAMs commitment to these values that makes me so proud to be the 91st person to lead this organization. As the 1989 Final Report of the Michigan Supreme Court Task Force on RacialEthnic Issues in the Courts states No segment of society is so strategically positioned to attack inequality problems as the legal profession.
