We’re thrilled to welcome Michael Gallagher to the App Inventor Foundation as our new Principal Engineer – a long-overdue introduction! 🎉 With years of experience in enterprise software and a passion for improving developer tools and workflows, Michael brings a powerful combination of expertise and curiosity to the team. Before joining us, Michael worked extensively with the Salesforce's platform before joining Thunkable where he helped shape both the product and the infrastructure that supported its rapid growth. Michael is especially passionate about CI/CD, platform engineering, and making open-source contributions more accessible through better tooling. As a hands-on learner himself, he resonates deeply with App Inventor’s build-first model and is excited to help make the platform even more powerful and accessible! May 15, 2025: MIT RAISE and App Inventor teams mark the 25th year at MIT of our talented program manager, Marisol Diaz. Marisol joined App Inventor in the early days of the project and has helped steer it ever since. The party featured two (!) kinds of cake and appearances by many friends old and new.
