The Kara Fund Events 11th Annual Golf Tournament Our Mission The Kara Fund strives to enhance the quality of life of children with lifethreatening diseases and their families by providing material items goods and services that offer physical and emotional support for them in their time of distress. We will advocate for pediatric patients and palliative care initiatives where possible and appropriate. To lessen the financial and emotional burden of children and their families as they cope with a lifethreatening illness. To make The Kara Fund a widereaching community effort involving young adults locally and in other parts of the US.

Paul Nagle and Mark MacDougall had the opportunity connect with Sara Fisher and Irene Cherrick via Zoom regarding several programs running through Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. We had a great meeting and we are continuing to support chronically and critically ill children as part of our ongoing $60,000 commitment, which started in 2023. We are currently serving 15 families and we provide them a monthly $100 gift card to WalMart or ALDI.
