Since she was in grade 7, Leah Penny knew she wanted to work in Formula One. Now, as a third year mechanical engineering student at Carleton Engineering and Design, Leah has spent the past year designing engine components at Red Bull Racing Technology Campus in the UK as part of a co-op that’s as challenging as it is unforgettable. Between late nights in the shop, weekend trips across Europe, and applying everything she learned being part of Carleton’s Ravens Racing team, Leah’s been living the kind of hands-on experience that she always dreamed of.
