Home Winter 2024 Lake Lowering is Halted. Winter 2024 Update Lake Lowering is Halted. Due to the ongoing dry conditions the NYC DEP has paused the aqueduct repair. Next year they will restart the work and the lake will remain full for the Winter of 2025 2026.
