This past October, communities across Iowa gathered in solemn unity for the babies we carry in our hearts and the families forever changed by love and loss. As the sun set on October 15th, we hosted Wave of Light events in cities throughout the state. For one sacred hour, we lit candles in remembrance—honoring every precious life gone too soon with light, love, and shared reflection. From Des Moines to Iowa City, Sioux City and beyond, hundreds joined us in person, while countless more lit candles from home. It was a beautiful reminder: we are never alone in our grief. Together, we remembered. Together, we honored. Together, we continue to heal.
