Over 400 fifth graders from across Otero County came together for the annual D.A.R.E. picnic at Alameda Park Zoo, hosted by the Alamogordo Police Department and Otero County Sheriff’s Office! The day was filled with fun, learning, and community spirit, including a friendly (but fierce!) tug-of-war showdown between APD and the Sheriff’s Office.
