Providing dignified access to free groceries allowing families to devote their limited financial resources to obligations such as housing utilities medication and other basic needs. Feed a Neighbor AFAC is 94 privately funded every dollar you donate makes it possible for us to buy groceries for the many families who come to our doors weekly. Make an Impact Support our Community 40 of the food we distribute is donated by people like you through local food drives providing families in need with variety and choice.

Every year, the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) conducts an in-depth survey to gather client feedback. Responses help AFAC adapt its services and programs to best meet the needs of the community. Surveys were conducted in February and March 2025.

On Tuesday, we had the honor of celebrating #volunteer Lee Clarke, who has officially completed 2,080 hours of service with AFAC — the equivalent of one year of work by a full-time employee. This remarkable milestone reflects Lee’s dedication and impact as a volunteer. In June, he will be formally inducted into the 2080 Society during our Volunteer Recognition Program.
