La Cueva Choirs WELCOME La Cueva High School is a public high school located in northeast Albuquerque New Mexico within the Albuquerque Public School District. Our mascot is the Bear and our motto is Where Excellence is a Habit. La Cueva High School opened in 1986 and currently has around 1800 students. It is part of the 5A Division in the NMAA State High Schools.
