Charleston Hope

In SC, 1 in 3 children don’t have access to mental health care. We’re committed to changing that. We partner with Title 1 schools in the tri-county area to provide: ➡️ school-based 1-1 therapy ➡️ afterschool, mental health infused girls programs

About the organization

Currently 1 in 3 children in South Carolina lack access to essential mental health services. With suicide being the third leading cause of death among youth aged 1024 and an overwhelming counselortostudent ratio of 1653 our schools are stretched far too thin to meet the growing demand for mental health support. Charleston Hope increases access to mental behavioral health programs in Title 1 schools to enhance student wellbeing. Heres how were bringing mental health care to more students.
