For the next two weeks, the Flyer will transit back to Monterey Bay, with a few community outreach stops along the way. Much like Steinbeck and Ricketts’ original voyage, “this trip had dimension and tone.” Our foundation engaged with a broad array of community partners to stir curiosity through a blend of marine research and education, as we followed in the footsteps of the foundational expedition 85 years ago.
