Our story Our mission The Dwelling Place is a nonprofit Adult Family Home in North Central Washington state. Through the invaluable support of our partners and our many friends we are modeling what it can look like for adults with developmental disabilities to live rich purposeful and socially integrated lives and to make valued contributions to their communities. Our brotherhood of founding residents known around town as The Five Amigos have bravely pioneered a path of vibrant and independent living that is making the way for others to do the same.
