As one of our land stewards put it: Working with the cattle to help restore the grasslands is a pleasure in its own right. Healthy cows getting fresh prairie on the daily means happy soil, happy grass, and a happy farmer to witness it all happen. That’s what it’s all about here at DAR, animals and people working with the land, not against it.
