It's #EarthDay2025. 🌎From soaring mountain waves to silent skies miles above the Earth, exploring the atmosphere gives us a rare perspective—one that reminds us how remarkable our planet truly is. Image from a 360 degree camera taken during #AirbusPerlanMissionII in 2017. (fb)

Got research? We've got a platform! We're seeking critical research projects and principle investigators to join the Perlan atmospheric research expedition to Southern Patagonia in 2026. Interested? SOARING TO 90000 FEET Boldly Seeking Knowledge Where Few Have Flown Before. The Perlan Project is an internationally celebrated world record setting climate and aerospace research project. We are expanding the boundaries of aviation and atmospheric research exploring the stratosphere to the very edges of space in a zeroemissions research plane with no engine. As an allvolunteer organization we depend on the contributions of donors and corporate sponsors to make what we do possible.
