Did you know Oklahoma's first legal beer was brewed in 1934? 🍺 After Prohibition, Oklahoma's first legal brewery, Progress Brewing Company, was founded by John F. Kroutil in OKC. Producing 3.2% ABW beer, it quickly became a major operation, employing around 1,000 people and producing up to 100,000 barrels annually. The six-story facility, known for its gravity-fed brewing operated until the early 1970s. (fb)
